In both 2005-06 and 2006-07, he was on pace for over 105 points in 82 games, but missed 14 and 15 games with injury, respectively. Five points shy of 1000 points unfortunately. The interesting question will be if he's considered for the HHOF. I'm leaning towards no personally, despite how underrated he was. Great player but I wouldn't have him in the HOF, though he's not that far off. I have several players ahead of him who aren't in the HOF...Brian Propp, Bernie NIcholls, Pierre Turgeon, Jeremy Roenick, Dave Taylor, Rod Brind'Amour, Rick Middleton, John Tonelli, Steve Larmer, Bobby Smith, Reggie Leach, etc. Possibly Charlie Simmer, Rene Robert, Rick Martin, Tim Kerr, Kirk Muller and Pete Mahovlich. That's just forwards... Edited May 30, 2022 by Kevin Biestra
Coconuts
Shame he joined the Leafs but he clearly loves that club. He's a Sen not a Leaf. It's sad that Alfy and Spezza ain't closer to the Sens.
