SHL, KHL developed the foreign prospects… Add to that the NCAA. A Canucks draft beyond the 1st round hopefully is playing in SHL, KHL and the NCAA is they want to become a proficient player. Signing Bains and Karlsson was a start, and obviously the draft is coming up.It is too bad the Canucks do not have a second round pick as, while this year's draft is thin at the top, apparently there are a lot of good prospects in the 25-50 range.
