Sounds like there's a pretty big Rot in Winnipeg

Coach quits

Schiefle rumours of wanting out

Now PLD saying not re-signing

No coach

what is going on there

saw a rumor they were trying to trade Wheeler, maybe that's the problem?

Seems like they’ve always had some locker room drama too…Big Buff vs Kane, Schieffle + Wheeler vs Laine.

Maybe personality conflicts preventing the team from truly bonding…?

It's Winnipeg.  The best thing about Winnipeg is leaving (at least was for me).

Time for some fun……

15, Rathbone, Hoglander for Dubois

Miller for #2

Kuzmenko Pettersson Podkolzin

Slavkovsky Dubois Boeser

Pearson Horvat Garland

Yes please….

MILLER - PETTERSSON - BOESER

KUZMENKO - HORVAT - PODKOLZIN

PEARSON - COPP - GARLAND

Much stronger.

To Winnipeg: Caulfield, Petry and Anderson

To Montreal: PLD and Schmidt

Who says no?

I’d say everyone but Montreal ahah. PLD is worth much more imo. Petry is old, Anderson isn’t much more than a big body that can potentially pot 20 and Caufield is a good scorer but not someone that moves the needle for a potential 1C in PLD. If you centre it around Cole you gotta add more than those spare parts

Yikes....that's a bit rich for my tastes but i do like the kid

It’s big money and would place him between #46-53 on the highest paid player list.  It would definitely be a risk.

Ryan Johansen signed a mega contract at 24 and has had his ups and downs, making his contact seem like a dud at times. Not sure of PLD’s consistency yet, but at his age and “potential”, 8 x 8 is probably fair market or just a little above it in the current landscape.

For example, Kaprizov just landed his 5yr x 9 mill per contact at 24 years old, but he did have Guerin over a barrel if you contrast that with the Suter/Parise buyouts and team need.

Assuming they can get an extension in place. If he wants to play in Montreal no one is going to give up much for one year

To be fair, Some guys bring back pretty big returns for like 20 games + playoffs at tdl^_^

I think Winnipeg will ask for Nick Suzuki in return for PLD. Not sure what Montreal will say to that.
