Would be perfect if was right shot. ‘I think with the new stress on development that we are supposedly seeing they should take all these draftees straight to Vancouver and get them working with the skating coach. Day 1 in franchise you understand you need to work on this more than anything else. We should hire our own skating coach. Seems like all of our prospects need some work. We have Mackenzie Braid on the Abby staff. He’s Dawn Braid’s son and was hired last year as a full time skating coach for the AHL team. Here’s a little background: https://www.sportsnet.ca/hockey/nhl/dawn-braid-mackenzie-skating-coach/?sn-amp Unfortunately, we can’t really offer services to a draft pick maintaining NCAA eligibility.

Oh yeah I guess. Thanks for the link. I really hope our development team makes some big strides. I'm no expert but love the people we have in there. I think it's a terrific starting point. I'd be inspired to put in the work if I was player. We need more than one prospect down there playing and growing together. Sophomore Jinx
Ok, this is just silly now. If the preseason is showing all of this on the injury front, then I may not be as pumped for the regular season as I thought I was. Who's next? (Hopefully nobody) Yeesh. #justleaveklimalone

CRAZY_4_NAZZY
I tore my MCL this past year. Doctors and physio said it would take 3 months to recover, but it took 7 months for the knee to feel functionally ready to skate and do sports again. I remember Antoine Roussel having a serious knee injury and despite recovering within a few months, it took a while to regain strength and full function again to be confident as a hockey player. This could be a long recovery for Gardner.
