Lots of teams shedding cap to take big swings to improve their clubs in free agency.

 

Hopefully that means lots of teams left at the alter needing a plan B in Miller.

This is the last day of the 1st buyout window.  

 

The 2nd buyout window only opens up for teams who have players heading to arbitration (whether it ends in arbitration or not).  In that 2nd window only players with an AAV of at least 4M and who were on the team's roster at the TDL can be bought out.

Every single year; GMs will overpay in free agent madness and every single year we will see confirmation of teams overpaying and regretting these deals.  $2 million players will get $3+ million and the cycle will continue.

 

Then the cycle will continue in a year or two.

 

With Fletcher as GM in Philli though, and his we're competing now statements...the league will be more interesting because crazy GMs make things more fun

Lindblom would be a great pickup. Balcers is a cheap 3rd liner option

I'd be all over Lindblom for the right price. With Highmore and Miller possibly out, doesn't that open up a spot? We have Pearson, Hoglander (who can play both sides), and Kuzmenko.
