As long as its not hindering the cap then its all good. Plus, why is everyone assuming hes going to fall off a cliff after 2 years??? The dude is 27! Popular Post Ilya Mikheyev
1st on Bruins in hits last year, 2nd hits per 60, same blocked shots as Motte, 1:36 PK mins per game last year moved up to 2:48 in the playoffs, led Buffalo in PK time the year before (3rd in Buffalo in hits per 60 that year). Floats around a career 50 faceoff winning %. Not terrible things for a 1M deal. 5 3

Bure_Pavel
Great signing, like they got some term with a cheap cap hit, its should always be one or the other, no Poolmans. He is a guys who can help when its time to complete.

King Heffy
Salary can be completely buried, so not concerned about the term. We needed more size in the bottom six and he can bring that.

We also wanted to add more "sandpaper" too though and Lazar brings it. He has limited tools at the NHL level but he'll bring maximum effort. I see him as similar to Troy Stecher but at forward. 1

He was drafted very high and those guys are taken for their offence. Now he knows he’s not going to be that player in the NHL. He will play a heavy, hard checking, defensive role and welcome it. This is very similar to the great Gillis signing of Manny Malholtra. 3
