HKSR
Seems to be the standard now for top tier RFA forwards... 8x8

If so some of these deals could be good value, if not, lookout!
Mustard Tiger
I really think 8 years in hockey is too long. Should be capped at 6 1

TmanVan
The current set up is crazy. You often only get 2 actual years out of these guys on their 3 year rookie deals then they immediately get top dollar. Josh Norris could could definitely keep progressing, but he could just as easily remain as a 25 goal 50 ish point guy who is now making 8 million for 8 years when. I honestly think rookie deals should be bumped up to 4 years.
Coconuts
RFA or not, anyone even resembling a top 3D has the bag thrown at them nowadays
Vinny in Vancouver
I thought I am a big Josh Norris fan, but not at that AAV. Wow. The Sharks must be really kicking themselves now. Karlsson for Norris and Stultze.

Coconuts
If you're gonna blame anyone blame the GM's, they're the one's who've been digging the hole deeper since the salary cap was introduced.

Herberts Vasiljevs
Tremendously underrated player. He might have one of the scariest one timers I've seen.

Norris and Thomas both signed 8x8 we are negotiating for Horvat extension and most fans wanted a long termdeal under 7/7.5 looks less likely

Thomas just turned 23 this year and put up 77 points in 72 games. Norris also just turned 23 and put up 35 goals in 66 games (pacing for 43 goals over 82 games) and 55 points (pacing for 68 points). Horvat turned 27 this year and put up 31 goals in 70 games (pacing for 36 goals) and 52 points. 8 years brings Thomas and Norris right into their prime years (31 yo). 8 years for Horvat brings him to 35 years old and likely close to retirement lol
