Popular Post Warhippy
A few names on that list that I find very intriguing. but also a few that are going to cost teams a lot more than I believe they wanted to pay. Bratt, Mangiapane, Yamamoto and even Puljujarvi are going to get raises 2 3

-AJ-
Interesting names to me there are MacEwen and Bratt. Bratt because he would be fun to get if we traded Miller and MacEwen as a former Canuck. He had a little bit of a bounce back year in Philly. I guess he wanted more than just shy of 900k for what he did last year.

-Vintage Canuck-
Reminder: Players who filed for arbitration can now no longer receive an offer sheet. They also can no longer decide to just accept their Qualifying Offers. The player and team can sign a contract prior to the arbitration hearing starting.
Goal:thecup
Yamamoto, 23, is coming off a career year in which he scored 20 goals and 41 points. He is coming off a one-year, $1.175-million contract that was signed just weeks before the start of last season. Not his QO, but posted it anyway. Goal:thecup
Yamamoto will be owed a $1.175MM qualifying offer but should more than double that on his next contract. After a tough showing in 2020-21, the 23-year-old bounced back nicely, hitting the 20-goal mark for the first time while setting new career bests in assists (21) and points (41) So, Yamamoto at 2.5? I know he is short but he is a force out there. He's gonna get more than that. But not from us, I hope.

billabong
Burgervan once said “there are players who get you there and there are players who get you through” kapanen, with his speed, reminds of a guy who could score a big goal in game 6 of a hard fought series to push you through mikeyev-horvat-kapanen The speed on that line is something we haven’t seen since Kesler and Raymond? Maybe?
Bruce Boudreau
With John Marino off the board as a RHD trade target Ethan Bear makes a lot of sense coming off a down year. Scott Morrow is the blue chipper Carolina needs to make room for eventually in the near future. With their trade for Burns they are locked in their top 4 already. Bear is a luxury bottom pair d who will not get the top 4 opportunity he would get in Van. OEL-Myers Hughes-Bear Dermott-Schenn

Maybe? I am assuming that is a trade involving JT Miller? If so rather move JT Miller to Columbus for a 2023 1st, Corson Celuemans, and Alexandre Texier.
