The New Jersey Devils sit atop the Metropolitan Division with a nearly full 23 man roster of Playoff potential players with a month and a half before the Trade Deadline. The team was dealt a big blow with both John Carlson and Torey Krug going down with long term injuries this month. The team has been able to fill their spots on defense for the time being with new additions Dante Fabbro and Mikey Anderson.

In goal the Devils are back to full health and are actively exploring trade options. The more likely candidate to be moved is veteran netminder Scott Wedgewood of the Stars, the said asking price is a pick or picks in 2024.

The Devils have flirted with moving some Playoff contending veterans this season but as of yet have found little to no market for producing veteran playoff players to be moved. Maybe closer to the deadline the market will heat up, as it stands the Devils are prepared and poised to ice a full compliment of Playoff producers for another Playoff run. If any teams have interest in top six Playoff forwards, top four Playoff defensemen, or contending team's netminders the Devils will listen and explore.

The team needs to make it clear we are not moving the likes of Mats Zuccarello, Jonathan Marchessault, Brady Skjei, or Frederik Andersen for 2nd round picks in 2024 and B level prospects. If teams wants high producing Playoff pieces it will involve thorough negotiation and the opposing GM feeling uncomfortable if not hesitant for a moment about pulling the trigger.

Now I feel like offering you a shit salad for your chicken sandwich.

I’ll add Raymond and Ballard.
