It was nice to see him rewarded with his goal showing great patience and cutting across the middle. He was still taking himself our of the play too frequently trying to play physical I love physical play but not when you're taking yourself out of the play. Overall though I thought it was a good showing for him. He wasn't going 1 on 5 nearly as often as he was against Sweden. Thought Pekarcik, Strbak and Cisar also had a great game for the Slovak's. This was a good game they made Canada earn it.

Pure961089
Which of these players would out pick at 11 if available? Leonard Cristall Dvorsky Perreault Barlow Moore Danielson Pellikka I think any of these players could be available at 11. Which one would you pick? After his 5 point game I'm seriously looking at Pellikka but the talent is with Cristall and Leonard is a fierce battler and Dvorsky is like Petey lite. Moore Dvorsky ASP in that order with consideration for Danielson.

Pure961089
I think there's going to be some reshuffling of the rankings after this tourney like there always is. Perreault and Pellikka stock has risen in my mind. Not sure how it's all going to shake out.
Pure961089
If the Canucks draft for positional depth than Pellikka, Moore, Dvorsky, Danielson, Shimishev If they're picking pure skill regardless of position (pure upside) then Leonard, Perreault, Cristall, Sale

I guess at the end of the day, we're looking at ASP being three-four years away from coming in as a rookie, so there's lots of time to not worry about the fit of having another small dman on our team. I've been a big fan of Leonard and Dvorsky, so I put them in a tier of their own. I would lean towards Leonard because of personal bias, but would be very happy with the DD. Tier 1 Leonard Dvorsky ------------------------------ Sandin-Pellikka Danielson Moore Perreault Barlow Cristall

As good as Sandin-Pellikka has been, I'm not sure if it's enough to really move him up the Central Scouting Euro rankings. Maybe he moves past Stenberg, but he's having a good showing as well. I see Sale as a potential dropper, and I don't think ASP gets drafted ahead of Dvorsky. Perreault is the 10th ranked North American skater. I can see him moving ahead of Honzek, but the guys ahead of him haven't really shown any reason to drop. kenhodgejr
Sandin- Pellikka has the potential of pairing well with Elias Pettersson the defenceman. He is defensively very good and Pellikka is very good offensively. Pellikka just needs a couple more years in Europe followed by a couple years in Abbotsford to round out his game. Pettersson Pellikka

Nucker 67
I haven't been that impressed with Cristall. He doesn't make my Top 15. 1
Bure_Pavel
Kinda shaping up that Gabe Perreault will be the steal of this draft.

Well, if it's really that obvious then I'm sure he'll be drafted a lot earlier than expected. Keep in mind 5 of his points this tournament came against Norway, who should have never been there if not for Russia and Belarus being banned. That said, it seems like a lot of people around here have been jumping on the Moore bandwagon lately. Personally I think I prefer Perreault to Moore. Personally I think I prefer Perreault to Moore. Yeah but its not just this tournament, his 125 points in 59 games and +72 with the US National U18 team, the NHL bloodlines, he has been effectively adding mass in the gym, and he has been hounding guys on the forecheck and backcheck while being disciplined. I think some team grabs him around 20 and are really happy down the road.
