Does Silovs play games 1 and 2?

Tough to say, they've been alternating goalies and I hope that they keep on doing it.

Both goalies have been great lately.

1st line:  Nielsen - Stevens - Karlsson

2nd line: Hoglander - Sasson - Podkolzin

3rd line:  Alfaro - Raty - Klimovich

4th line: Stevens - Wouters - Rau

Depth forwards: Dowling, Gatcomb, Arsenault (injured), PDG (injured)

1st D: Woo - Guitari

2nd D: Rathbone - Keeper

3rd D: Johansson - Kannok Leipert

Depth Defensemen: Carroll, Nychuk , Juulsen (injured), Wolanin (injured)

That would be my guess, but people can feel free to disagree and present different lineups.  Maybe I'm forgetting someone too.

Seems like we are playing a lot of younger prospect guys. Silovs, Woo, Rathbone, Johansson, Raty, Hogs, Podz, Klim, Karlsson, Sasson.
Am I missing any prospects?

Silovs, Raty, Hogs, and Podz are definitely NHL bound in the future.

Woo, Rathbone will end up playing NHL games too...  maybe with us, maybe somewhere else.  Waivers might end up being the end of some of them with us but that's a natural progression with a lot of bottom end NHLers.

Johansson is a big enigma for me.  I've only watched two SHL playoff games with him (where he played against Lucas Forsell), and he's looked big and fluid on the ice.  Can't wait to see IF he gets into the lineup and also how he looks.  He may end up just spending time with the team and being a black ace.  I wouldn't look at it as a slight on the player, but rather a way to get him acclimated to North America, find a place to live, and get comfortable with his new teammates.

Filip Johansson will be a name that we hear a lot in 2023-24.

Karlsson and Klimovich are very exciting as prospects.  Karlsson is a big body that's great on the boards.  Rick Tocchet could end up seeing him and loving the way he plays.  He's a guy that can go to the boards and get the puck for the skilled players.

Klimovich has the highest ceiling of all of our prospects IMO.  He's big, mobile, and strong and is trending the right way.  Danila Klimovich is a prime candidate to have a breakout playoff run.

Nielsen, Sasson, Wouters, and Rau are really good young guys that have really done well in the AHL.  One of them could end up having an Alex Burrows like cinderella story, but it's not very likely.  Still really nice to see us taking chances on 21 and 22 year olds instead of 27 and 28 year olds.  It's crazy how much younger we have been compared to the rest of our division.  Seattle and Calgary AHL teams are loaded with 30 year old veterans, which is also why they're 1st and 2nd in the entire league.

Edit: forgot to mention Kannok-Leipert.  He should be thrown into the Nielsen, Sasson, Wouters, Rau, Carroll, and Nychuk category.  Tons of super young prospects that got overlooked by the NHL teams in the drafts.

I see you have Stevens on there twice.

My lines - PDG - Dowling - Podkolzin

                Hoglander - Stevens - Karlsson

                Bains - Raty - Nielsen

                Sasson - Wouters - Klimovich

       D      Wolanin - Juulsen

                Rathbone - Woo

                Keeper - Kannok-Leipert

Injured playes like PDG, Wolanin and Juulsen will play because it's the playoffs.

Thanks for the clarification, and showing where Bain’s fits into the lineup. I just want our guys to win.

Seems like that Bakersfield team is on a hot streak. We need great goaltending from Silovs. I’d play him the first two games. And if there’s a game three? Play him in that o d too.

He's consistently been played at 3LW with some time at 2LW while Hoglander was out, I imagine he'll get playoff icetime.

Baines should be on top 9 for sure..Bains finished 5th in points GP 66 - G 13 -- PTS 38

Baines maybe hurt?
