Your better off figuring out your top 9, then jettison any > 1m contracts to create caproom. Not resigning a true 4th liner whom performed in the role is not great. Lamm-Lazar-Highmore would of been a great 4th. Pearson/hogs-Lazar-Joshua….meh. Well, obviously management thought otherwise and considered him a replaceable asset. In the end the decision also comes down to the player. Lammiko will likely have a larger role for the team in Zurich than he would ever get on the Canucks. sad to see him go but oh well. dr.naughtypants
He was just filler. A player who didn't really help, but didn't really hurt either. He could tread water. I think we've replaced him with players that might have something beyond that, with hitting / fighting abilities while treading water.
Rabbit
Last season he played not bad. Management team waived him due to they wish an upgrade. Best wishes!!
BobbyClarke
Without Motte, he was pretty much useless, but with Motte, he was awesome.
RakuRaku
No NHL teams made him an offer so that says a lot about his value... Lazar and Joshua are clearly upgrades over Juho and Highmore. Hope Lockwood will show more next season or Di Giuseppe will steal his lunch!
