Brock Best-sir
https://twitter.com/BTW8892/status/1555947587429081089 Guess Motte isn't resigning there after all or does this perhaps impact the Miller sweepstakes
70seven
…Love to see Motte back in Van… clearly he’s looking for term, but I don’t think it’s there for him given the landscape of top players eating the flat cap. I bet he’ll end up in Az/Sea/Ana or any other floor based cap team.

Two wingers who are really strong two way players and Lazar isn’t too bad himself. 2 2

But having Joshua whom the nucks feel he's about to break out, makes league minimum or close to it, for the next 2 seasons is a risk worth taking. With the new management focusing more quality experienced people and resources into pro scouting, I think Lockwood, Lazar, and Joshua will be a better 4th line next year than what we had this year (and may end up being top 3 best 4th lines in the league). Finding guys that haven't 'popped' yet for minimum salary, is exactly what the best teams do year after year. Works out better now on 4th line - Joshua 6'3 -- Lazar --Hoglander -- Lockwood-- Fans are going to like Joshua and Lazar,

PetterssonOrPeterson
Is NYR handing out free contracts to their alumni? Vesey is awful. Motte over Vesey anyday.

Ilya Mikheyev
I wonder if NYR sees him as a Motte replacement or more as a Ty Ronning replacement/upgrade

He has some offensive ability but brings nothing special to the 4th line to warrant a spot as a role player.

It isn't; this guy is almost as bad as Petan.
Coconuts
He's looking to be a depth piece at this point, could work Both sides are familiar with each other, Vesey wants to prove he's more, NYR gets a known quantity as a depth piece
