(Unless they learn Swedish). (And no Czechs either this year). I for one am dying to watch a World Juniors one day again with a Canucks Canadian prospect playing. The last two WJC didn't have a Canadian Canuck. I don't know how far back it goes. Was Virtanen the last one from 2015? That didn't turn out so well for him, and a harbinger of things to come. Before that all I remember is Cody Hodgson and how stoked I was to watch a Canuck prospect play such a prominent role on the team. Both players ended up disappointments here in the end. Canuck Luck. As far as undrafted Canadians, good luck with that. Unless we really crap the bed this season, BC born phenoms like Connor Bedard won't even be a pipe dream. Its always been a little bitter/sweet watching Canada's juniors light it up most years. Cheering for and watching other teams future Canadian stars help win us gold.
