Henrique Zegras Terry Lundestrom Strome Vatrano Comtois McTavish Jones McLaughlin Grant Gawdin Fowler Klingberg Drysdale Shattenkirk Vaakanainen Kulikov Gibson If Gibby can reclaim his all world form, which I think he can…. This underrated group will surprise imo. Also jealous they have Mintyukov and Zellwegger coming along. Still basically at the cap floor too. Verbeek giving himself lots of space to negotiate upcoming RFAs and UFAs, like Zegras. Their top-6 is still a little thin but I agree, with certain players taking steps forward could surprise a bit this year.

Got deeper and faster as well as adding quality prospects and tons of cap space. This is a team that could easily be in the hunt for 2nd in our division or finishing just shy of the race. Keep saying, our division got a lot harder to play against this off season
canucklehead44
Looks like a great bottom pairing who can move up to the 2nd pair when needed. Had his highest point totals in a decade last season.

Had his highest point totals in a decade last season. Can he throw down? Gonna compare him to Myers, include Tyler Myers Chaos Giraffe's Demolition of ex- NHLer D.B. Keith Elbower of Dan Sedin taking said Canuck out of the playoffs. Lots of you local experts, great posters, etc., dismiss the value of large players who can lay down the law, especially in the playoffs. He stands up for teammates, he will drop the mitts, he does thunderous and legal (!) hits, holds his own most times in the resulting melees, etc. Let alone he wants to be here and does his job(s). We cannot sign any new players right now. We need to go to camp and sort the wheat from the chaff. We need to know whether Poolman can recover and if Dickenson can return to form. Panic over needing RD is overdone. Quinn or Ole can play either side and both are all-stars. That is a tremendous start on D. Myers is a monster and we do not have enough monsters. That is 3 top D right off the hop. Poolman - question mark. Dermott - proven 3rd pair, plays both sides. Rathbone and a bunch of guys with and without pro experience fighting for jobs. No need to panic, in my opinion. I will always make room on 'my team' for players like Tyler Myers.
