Great value for Dallas.

Leaves them with about 7m for Robertson.

Guess he'll need to take a discount too unless they move some cap out.

They’re gonna have to do a bridge deal with Robertson too most likely.

This is another case of, yes it’s great value for them now but they would have been better off signing him long term. He’s gonna cost them 6-7 mil on his next deal.

Glad we were able to lock Demko in long term. That contract continues to look like our best one.

Yeah bridge looks likely.

3 years and Benn's deal is up, so they can afford to give Oettinger and Robertson raises then.

Hintz will need a raise next year though, so that'll be tough. Really amplifies just how bad those Benn and Seguin deals have turned out.

I love RFA goalies. They know to take what a RFA should. Shesterkin / sorokin / demko / husso / soros / now this guy. All mid term with 3-5.5m deals. Nice. All other RFAs take notice and get paid appropriately so you stop driving up the UFA $$

Doesn't help when Toronto and Edmonton go nuts on contracts.

Toronto set the tone for RFAs having insane leverage with extremely high dollar AND walking them to UFA at the earliest time possible. Dubas will go down as one of the worst ever
