[Signing] Avalanche sign Evan Rodrigues

They're pretty much all in this year again before Nate Mac goes UFA and will likely command nearly double his current salary.

After that, they'll still be good, but their depth will begin to quickly erode and the dismantling will begin.....

Only 2M, we should have been all over this but he probably got to pick and choose, and he chose the place which will set him up for a pay rise next year so smart play by him. 40 points last year with restricted minutes, he may get thrown into a top 6 role from time to time with Colorado and could really bust out, or could just become a bust.

Considering Dickinson is on 2.5M these 3Cs going for less than him this offseason reallt hurts.

There were so many out there, guys like Tierney, Janmark, Jarnkrok etc. all signed tiny deals compared to Dickinson. This 3C hole is one we really needed to address, unless Bruce has informed management he wants to roll 3 scoring lines, but I doubt we'll see that all year long.

he can skate and shoot hard, he broke Bo's foot last season.

Alright then!! let's take both Stralman and Rask since we are a Swedish-friendly club!! I have a feeling Poolman won't be around consistently... and we should just waive Dickinson pls...

Don't forget Canucks gave up a pick to acquire him :emot-parrot:

I'm pretty sure BO is going to be our 3C this year and we are rolling 3 lines.  We acquired 2 additional wingers for this purpose.

Mikheyev      Miller             Boeser

Kuzmenko    Pettersson    Podkolzin

Pearson       Horvat           Garland

We even have Höglander as an extra on top of all those wingers.  So unless we are trading some wingers that will be our top 9 to start the season...

Bowen Byram just started developing and they also add girard to their lineup again, kuemper was playing with one eye and kadri missed half the playoffs and came back with one working thumb, also newhook is primed to take another step as well…. I’d argue they are potentially better

And Newhook could take a step. Scary team for many years yet
