Really classy guy. just shows how close to the line these guys are on losing their careers, one wrong crash into the net and you can't really get back to what you were.
Popular Post Goal:thecup
I really liked Roussel when he played for our shared farm team (Chicago Wolves) and was disappointed when he made the NHL with Dallas. We got him back a little too late but he always gave it all he could for us, and for Dallas before that. A lot of fun to watch him play and he was a French player from France (not Quebec) so he had no love lost for les Habs etc. One of my favorite moments was when he called everybody out for letting the Montreal fans into the building and out-cheering us. Roussel on support Habs get from fans in Vancouver: ‘to be honest, I hate that. There are too many red jerseys here. It pisses me off they way they feel like it’s their home. It’s our home. Get the hell out of here.’ 1 4 1
Popular Post 250Integra
Met him after a pre-season game when the Canucks were in Victoria for training camp and he was so nice. Took the time to ask me about my day and joked around with me. He also signed a photo for me (they were handing out player cards before the game and I happened to get his). Wish him all the best. 3

Toyotasfan
Does France have a hockey league? Maybe there’s a good chance he can make it there. 19 hours ago, Goal:thecup said: A lot of fun to watch him play and he was a French player from France (not Quebec) so he had no love lost for les Habs etc.

They do and he would absolutely dominate there. Tanner Glass went there and had a pretty productive end of career in Bordeaux.
Phil_314
Liked what he brought on the ice in his time here, and if he does retire (as mentioned before) if he wants to get into coaching I hope we give him a shot.
