250Integra
Kind of like a Demko bridge contract. If he pans out, the next one will be a biggie.

Drakrami
At some point they should just take a 50% caphit and trade Bobrobsky. Hes playing like a 5million goalie any way.
timberz21
This is inevitable, Bobrovsky will be traded to Arizona either next summer or in 2024. His actual salary the next 4 years 12,10, 6.5, 6. No saving for Arizona next year, but that 10M$ could help them reach the cap floor in 2025 and 2026. He's still a decent goalie that can play, he's just not a 10M$ man. 12 minutes ago, Drakrami said: At some point they should just take a 50% caphit and trade Bobrobsky. Basically similar outcome, without giving up assets other than actual cash.
BureBurrito
Knight likely takes over Bob's spot this year (traded or injury)

Diamonds
That's a lot of money for a guy who's still very unproven and had an inconsistent year last year. Lots of potential, but I thought bridge deals were supposed to lower cap hits... I guess Florida is hoping Bobrovsky decides to retire early or something. JeremyCuddles
Extension, so it starts next season. Which means Bob's time is coming to a close? 15mil in goalies likely isn't sustainable. He'll have 3 years left when Knight's extension kicks in. Bob also has a NMC. This gonna be a "my contract sucks" situation? Which contending team will take a 35 year old goalie and can take a 10mil price tag? Even if they retained 2mil that's an insane price tag. Lol. ShawnAntoski
Imo, the Bobrovski signing, is one of Tallons' worse signing as Panthers GM. Solid, signing and a contract similar to Demko Edited September 29, 2022 by ShawnAntoski

D-Money
Bob still has a full NMC through the end of next season. And a 16-team list for the last 2 years of his deal (in which the cash is a lot less than the cap hit), so they can’t just simply move him to Arizona without his consent. I’m guessing buyout at the end of this season, unless he goes on LTIR. Edited September 29, 2022 by D-Money
