We reached out to Penguins GM @Ilunga and inquired about coming back as the AGM, and he welcomed me back with open arms. I am grateful for the opportunity, and I cannot wait to get to work and help put the Penguins over top. I have put my name on a waiting list for a GM position, but with a few people ahead me that will probably take a while. Attempted to extend Lehkonen, but already had 2 top-6 LW-ers on the team. And just about tried extending Moore, but decided to avoid long-term commitments right now. Decided in both cases to get something for their rights rather than watch them walk for nothing. A rebuild in Carolina is on the horizon. Likely will be another year though…But that will depend on how next season goes.
