[Waivers] 14 players - Oct. 07, 2022

  • -Vintage Canuck- changed the title to [Waivers] 14 players - Oct. 07, 2022

While watching Abbotsford games vs Winnipeg one particular guy that stood out was Jonathan Kovacevic who is a right shot dman. Tower of a player standing at 6'4'', and has a wicked shot from the point, can be physical. Not too sure about his defensive game but he could be a nice depth add.

Kovacevic - 6'4" 210lb 25yo Right shot defenceman averaging almost .5pt/gm at the AHL level the past two years.

Like he's fallen into our lap at the exact time we have question marks on d and the season is around the corner......

Where's Poolman and Dickinson!?!?  COME ON!!!!

Both are playing pretty well and improving. Just because they aren't flashy players like Pettersson, doesn't mean that they aren't currently fulfilling the functions they were brought in to perform.

Poolman has been improving every game after having a really rough last season with migraines....let's see how he looks during the season. If he doesn't get back to where he should be, then we can always waive him in 8 or 10 games.

Dickenson isn't putting up much offense, but we are a better defensive team and have a better penalty kill right now with him in the lineup.

Dickinson maybe... but seriously?  Poolman?  Have you been watching a different Poolman?  The one that we have has been slipping down the depth chart because of his poor play.

I know he's a coiler, but Samorukov going to get picked up or did he his play drop off.  Thought i remember last couple years the coiler media hyping him up.

Well to be fair they’re gonna hype up anyone capable of playing defense at a half decent level.
