the canucks power play really falls apart when the opposing team has an aggressive penalty kill and doesn't give the canucks players much time/space. something ive noticed for years now.

They aren't even aggressive. They literally aren't moving their skates or the puck. I don't understand how Hughes can look so dynamic and then go to kill a powerplay because he refuses to move either himself or the puck.

Why is it most fans have blinders on and can’t understand that it’s not just our teams inabilities for the current score.
EDM just woke up, face it. They are an explosive team and this is what happens. If anyone gets so immediately critical of our club then I’d advise to watch a bit more hockey as every game has ebbs and flows.
We’re playing against 2 or the top 5 players in the world right now. Keep that in mind.

What a joke of a collapse by this group. Zero composure.

This is not good enough.

Ease up man.

We are all over them.T

They have the most dangerous passer on the planet and the top scorer in the world. These guys are for real. Tie game going into the third. Outshooting and out chancing them. They got the bounces and won the period.

Time to bear down.

We'll take it back...Oilers took advantage of a totally blown non call that should've been a 4 minute pp for us but resulted in a goal for them. The turning point and the Oilers fed off it.

But the team'll respond. JT leading the way.

Petey and Miller need to be more responsible as Hughes is the only d-man back there on the PP. Miller needs to stop those ridiculous no look backhanders to the point, and Petey needs to use the boards more effectively if he’s going to play the half wall.
