This is where the league gets it wrong.

 

The money/ fine , is what it is.

 

But durring the game if that was called like it should have been, The Canucks would have rightfully gained an advantage.

 

Personally I think Kuznetsov should get the following game suspension,  and then be suspended the next time when his team plays the Canucks.

 

I think this scenario addresses 2 things, gives the team violated against that fair advantage back ,   And takes the “heat” or pressure off any type of “retribution”  by the “code”.

 

Same scenario with what happened with QHighes vs Kane.
