Fanuck
Harpur - 27yo 6'6" 230lb defenceman with over 150 NHL games under his belt with a low-risk one-year deal. Do we need someone like that.....? 2

I'd be alright if we could get someone to stop goals going in. We have enough guys that can play offensive D.

Well, he played over 50 games with NSH, a franchise that knows a thing or two about NHL defencemen..... At this point, it's just a matter of time until another body goes down and who knows when the next d-man will be available via waivers/trade.....?
Strawbone
Also a career minus player, mostly with bad OTT teams though. Scouting report: His size (6'6", 231 pounds) makes him a force in front of his own net. Is not a bad skater for someone so tall, but he contributes very little offensively. Therefore, he has to play mostly error-free hockey in his own zone. He is more than willing to stand up for his teammates. Could he partner and protect Hughes, while Quinn takes care of the offense? Probably not, but I'm open to anything at this point.

No.

Coincidence that Keith retired at the end of that season? I think not!

Yup - they just announced that Stillman is IR and Dermott on LTIR. A guy like Harpur would be pretty useful at this point I'm guessing - if nothing else then just for a stop-gap. 1
