Brings back playoff memories, I’ll be hanging around waiting patiently for the Playoffs one of these years with my towel neatly folded in the linen closet.

Awesome, those were great days :)

I've got a couple towels from a game in 94.  Yours is better though.

The Canucks used to do a "there's a puck in your soup" dinner for fundraising stuff in the 80s.  I think I've got the puck that was in my soup somewhere.

I've also got a Canucks recipe book from the 80s with the recipes submitted by Tiger Williams, Richard Brodeur, Harold Snepsts etc.  It also gives a few personality details on each one like their favorite music artist.  Needless to say Michael Jackson was a common choice in the early 80s.

Yeah it was a different time...a much smaller business.  The Canucks were somewhere between Paul Newman's team from Slap Shot and what it is like now.  They had to do what they could to make money and stay in town.  At one point in the 80s they had an exhibition game with the Vancouver Police Department team...and lost.
