Tuboo
Does anybody know what time they will be doing the Bieksa retirement presentation? I figured the start time of the game would be pushed back to 7:30PM... but i'm noticing that it's still starting at the regular 7:00PM time. I usually get to the game at 6:55PM cause of work. I'm just wondering if i need plan the day in order to get there earlier.

Tell your boss you're leaving work early, and it's non-negotiable.
Coconuts
It's a shame he decided to retire, management should have tried to sign him for more than a single day Could use him on the ice Edited November 3, 2022 by Coconuts 1
Provost
It would be gold if he actually played the last game and it wasn’t just an honorary thing. He can’t be worse than 6 of our current D. 1

He can’t be worse than 6 of our current D. I love Juice, one of my all time favourites…and that’s just how I want to remember him. He 41 and hasn’t played since 2018 after the Ducks elected not to sign him and said they were happy with their defence, which included Derrick Pouliot. I know we are being facetious but let’s not subject him to this hot mess. It would be pretty electric to see him in the jersey and skates though… Oy yeah and the panel sucks without him.

PetterssonOrPeterson
Kind of a unique ceremony. Not a jersey retirement but a retirement presentation.

IBatch
What a natural ... I tried to post the video . but don't know how too. It's SN, Burke telling the origin story of Bieksa and it's a total beaut - maybe someone could post it for me? It's animated but voiced by the actual guys lol...Federov, all 6'4" of him got, got pasted. KB figured he was fired lol...Too bad Burke wasn't asked to come back and fix our mess. Hey Burkie: How a bar fight with Fedorov led to Kevin Bieksa’s 1st NHL contract 4:43 | March 17, 2022 Brian tells Jeff about one of his most surprising signings, Kevin Bieksa! Canucks drafted him in the 5th round in 2001. They brought Kevin in on an amateur tryout to evaluate his skills and it didn’t take him long to make an impression, off the ice.
