Timråfan
To Flames Miller and Myers To Canucks Lucic and Hanifin plus a cheap RD and a prospect. With Lucic(only this season) in the team Petey and Hughes get an easier life and Hanifin doesen’t seem to like it in the Flames. Can be a hit with us. The Flames can go all in for at least two tears before they go down completely. Edited November 7, 2022 by Timråfan
HKSR
Eww no. Lucic can just retire already. I'd hate to see him sloggin himself around the ice in a Canucks jersey. The boat has sailed a long time ago.

If we can get rid of two major contracts in one deal it’s great. Only the Flames might be that desperate.
HKSR
Who would the cheap RD and prospect be? That makes a difference here. Lucic is negative value, so when you add him to Hanifin, it feels like way too little value.

Well, Miller himself is very important for the Flames so it might be worta few prospects or draftpicks This is what some fans here love to see…

This is not a good relationship. I like Hanifin a lot, but it would take a lot more for the Nucks to trade Miller to a rival team. The Flames have terrible prospects and they will likely stop floundering and make the playoffs, which makes their 1st rounder rather mediocre. Even the Miller haters would hate this trade. If we want Myers and Millers cap out Flames is probably the only team as desperate due to their ageing core. Their window is closing soon

Their window is closing soon There's a handful of contending teams that may be interested in Miller (Boston, Columbus,Philly) as well as teams that are ready to take the next step (Ottawa, Columbus). Myers will be in his last year of contract next season, so the team might find a team that will pick him up with Vancouver retaining.
Coconuts
Won't happen. Here are the details of Lucic's clauses, June 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022 - Modified NTC: Submits a list of 8 teams he can be traded to / July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023 - Modified NTC: Submits a list of 10 teams he can be traded to. Even without the Boston bit, why would he waive to leave what should be a competitive Flames team for a team that could be out of it by Christmas if they don't get their shit together? King Heffy
Hell no to bringing a locker room cancer like Lucic in. You don't want to let that scumbag anywhere near the young players. This would be another Messier type situation. Edited November 8, 2022 by King Heffy
Nucker 67
No trades with CGY. I'd rather trade Miller to FLA for Tkachuk, than see him in a Flames jersey. Tkachuk - Horvat - Garland Kuzmenko - Pettersson - Mikheyev

Draistil had some chance of learning to play like a man before Lucic came there. Why in holy would anyone have any respect for that worthless piece of garbage? No, Lucic would be interested in playing for his hometown. He still has lots of friends and family around the city and whatever happened in the past is water under the bridge. Flames would have to add a lot of value in this trade, and I also don't think that they would want to give up an important d-man off their team (Hanifin) even if it meant getting a top-line forward and a big RD that can eat up minutes. Hanifin seems to not fit in Sutters game. So for over five mill for a D that don’t fit in is pretty much. Sutter take Myers instantly. Hanifin is probably better off here. The Flames have to add but how much.
Timråfan
Since Huberdau isn’t doing what he should do the Flames are the absolute best trading partner. They need a player like Miller and since their core is ageing they need to start all over in a few years when Marky, Huberdau is too old. Their window is now. We can offer Miller, OEL with a bit retantion and Myers for Lucic, Hanifin, Weegar and Coleman. They get a window of oppurtunity with a great winger, offensive LD to complement Andersson and a big RD that fits Sutters system. We get a thug that helps the team get tougher, a good LD, an RD and a winger with great experiance of winning the cup.
