King Heffy
Reilly is a pretty decent player but makes too much. He will likely be part of the return in the event that Boston goes after a rental. Horvat for a first, Lysell, and Reilly to make the salary work? CR7
At least Ottawa has a GM willing to waive a high paid player because he's not preforming to his contract 1

mll
McAvoy is expected back tomorrow for the Bruins. They have to clear just under 2.9M in cap space to activate him off LTIR. Burying Reilly in the AHL only clears 1.125M They have Forbort 3M and Swayman 925K on IR and maybe one is eligible for LTIR as temporary fix. eeeeergh
Yea Zaitsev for 4.5m is no bueno Considering he couldnt crack a lineup where hamonic is a top-
JeremyCuddles
Weren't we in the running for Zaitsev when he first came over? Feels like forever ago. Guy has fallen off. Besides, with the aquisition of Bear we have no need for a 5/6 RD, especially one with a 4.5mil cap hit. Hell we didn't have a need for that before Bear. We need a top 4 shutdown RD. None of these guys are worth the time of day considering we are riddled with these types of players.

Diamonds
Anyone think Ottawa would do a Myers for Zaitsev 1 for 1? Both have one more year remaining but saves us 1.5M in cap space. Considering OEL-Myers has been a mess this year I can't imagine pairing him with Zaitsev would be any worse. 1

I keep getting a picture of JT in a Bruins jersey in my head. JT would be a great fit for Boston and they can afford his pay increase next year. I think Miller would love to join a cup contender; especially in the east. Miller for Debrusk + Lysell + 1st (although I'd much rather Frederic, but Boston won't let him go). If the management can reach a decent contract with Bo, but I think a team like the Sens will fork out more for Horvat, as they really need a strong veteran presence going forward. Well those two contracts would allow Ottawa the room to take on Garlands contract. Not saying trade would be those two for garland just that if they move those two out it becomes doable Edited November 9, 2022 by Podz92
