King Heffy
Who teaches Nurse to play like a man and cut the diving out? A respectable franchise won't tolerate his gutless play.

Boknows08
Not really interested in trading Bo but as time moves on I feel the likelihood that he does. Move Myers maybe td next year and get a good pick for him. We can’t keep giving away 2nds. Chytil would be a good 3c behind Petey and Bo. Can’t see Rags doing that deal though. Definite no to Nurse. Miller for Pulock.

Detroit - Deal I think Vancouver can get a better deal.. Yup. Our chance to get Chytil was at the 2022 TDL in the rumoured Rags’ offer for Miller. But our owner (IMHAO) saw that type of deal as a “step back” or rebuilding move. And he insists on only “win now” moves, so he told JR to take Miller off the market. I just hope this isn’t th3 same path we see the club take with Bo.

If we think Miller is bad at that cap, you're taking a defenseman at $9.25 million until 2030, and that contract's not going to age well since he's a physical player, and players like him will likely break down in later years. Him, Hughes and OEL on the same side also mean the RHD situation will remain atrocious. EDIT: on top of that, we're taking Hronek who's also a puck-mover and pairing him with Hughes, and putting the two physical defenders in Nurse/ Schenn together on the 3rd pair... so much doesn't make sense here. DownUndaCanuck
Say what you want about Nurse and his 9M cap hit but he's exactly the sort of defenceman we need. Big strong RD, sure his defence is a bit sloppy some times but the guy can play a hard game, beat just about anyone physically and in front of the net and he puts up some big points too. Meanwhile we have tiny Hughes, old man OEL and giraffe Myers. Luke Schenn runs this show physically and he's only on the ice for around 17 minutes a night. I'd do a Miller for Nurse swap in a heart-beat but obviously Edmonton have no need for that. Nurse probably isn't the best top defenceman you build around but he's better than anything we have physically.

It's a non starter anyways. The only major deal we've had with EDM is Steve Staois lol. Think about that for a minute. We don't trade with EDM or within our division really. Kesler of course the biggest deal all-time and that had mitigating circumstances.
