(Rumour) Nux have given permission for Boeser’s agent to talk to other teams

So in the other thread, asking why/how our management team is deemed as "smart"

This is an indicator as to wtf did they get that designation?  Like really?  REALLY

This lowers Boeser's value even more than his lackadaisical play and contract has.  A player known to be being shopped has a lower perceived value as they are evidently deemed unwanted.

Now, Boeser is a known quality.  He is near ppg.  Is one of the better scoring players of his draft class and is no slouch.  For whatever reason his interest or drive has fallen off of a cliff but he's not "without value" based on his production.  But his perceived value by this team, his current contract and his meh drive on the ice is going to tank what should otherwise be an asset to a lower value which; honestly is gd stupid.

Is Dumba's value as low as Boeser's?

Whenever an agent is given permission to seek a trade that pretty much means value is at absolute rock bottom.

Dumba, Severson, and Chychrun are three guys we must stay away from.

Never ending whining.

Severson would be good here, he's actually very solid defensively AND he has a great first pass and vision.

Severson will also be 29 before next season even begins, he's a "win now" sort of acquisition, which wouldn't surprise me at this point. I think it'd be a mistake though, we should be looking to get younger on D, not sign a veteran to what would likely have to be a lengthy deal to reel him in.

Hey bud try to sell your car with this opening.

lemme sell you this car.  It has issues.  Doesn't drive well, no real fuel economy.  Super expensive to maintain and seems gutless on the road.

But dude, it's TOTALLY worth value.

Lemme know how that sales pitch goes for ya

Think maybe he goes to PIT?  Crosby loved the flow at that All Star game a few years ago

(RW) Brock Boeser (15% retained by VAN) and (LD) Jack Rathbone

(RW) Kasperi Kapanen and (LD) Pierre-Olivier Joseph

just a guess

Interesting. Crosby could revive Boeser's career. In fact, if there is anyone who can turn Boeser into a 30 goal scorer, it's Crosby.

If Crosby can't, then Boeser's probably never going to score 30 goals.

I think Dumbo and Severson are on expiring contracts, no?  So we get off their cap after this season.  We basically clear Brock’s cap 2 years early.  Clears cap for Kuzmissile.

I’ve heard the opposite from many posters here on CDC.

Regardless wouldn’t move any picks for him, and especially not Chychrun.

Boeser is overpaid and underperforming. He seems to have lost his shot and is slow. He has little to no impact on the game unles he scores. Realistically, the cap space would be the win here, but I expect next to nothing in return other than probably another struggling, overpaid player.

This likely means that the team has tried very hard to trade him quietly and it failed. And could also mean that Boeser has requested a trade and hence, the agent gets involved in.
