The Canucks have excelled at one area this year - beating other aquatic teams (ducks, kraken, sharks, pens) . Alas that streak could end tonight.

A loss is what Vancouver needs but there are plenty of stats to be padded. Bo can score and increase his next contract, Miller can keep scoring and get the boo-birds off his back and perhaps Pettey can finally get one on the power play.

The Pens just broke a 6-game losing streak at Mullet Arena. They are holding down an eastern wild card slot and unlike Vancouver have a lot to play for.

What I'd love is for Rutherford and his cyborg Alvin to stay in Pittsburgh and for Brian Burke to return to Vancouver.

To move this team the two of them out takes one phone call. One phone call. $0.25 on a pay phone to move this team.   3 minutes on a "call anywhere in North America plan" to move this pair

Imagine Brian Burke working for our owner.  Burke would punch Aquilini in the nose the first time the guy came by and stated his insisted upon direction.  Nonis was a Burke trained GM and he told this owner where to go.  Sadly our owner would never hire a GM with the character of Burkie.
