Go on a massive run, miss the Playoffs and draft 15th. Double down on this core again. Life's too busy for this garbage-melodrama. But the obvious question now, is why would they do anything else besides turn this tank right into the ditch? If we start selling assets, he isn’t going to care about playing the kids and setting up for next season and beyond when the team has basically said publicly he is a bad coach and they don’t want him. The bad thing is, Yeo as an interim also has no motivation to do anything except try to burnish his resume with wins at the expense of development. These coaches literally have set franchise records for futility across the board. And we’ve had some pretty bad seasons. Bring in a veteran coach and let him hire his guys right from the beginning. No more forcing assistant coaches on them. Rutherford and co need to take their own advice and stay in their lanes. They brought in Yeo to bring more structure and this team has never looked worse structurally. It doesn’t matter who they think will work, it matters who the head coach can work with.
