Yes. I agree. Please dear Gord, may it be so. 1

I agree totally overblown trading a 1 year contract is just the name of the game if a gm did this every 2 or 3 years no biggie. its when gms get a reputation of doing this over and over every single year, it could possibly become a bad precedent.

Myers has the caveat of having one more year on his deal. Klingberg can have his contract retained. Not that it really helps. Dude is Del Zotto, without the top tier DJ work. 204CanucksFan
Appears though this is just a matter of the Ducks getting their ducks in a row (bad joke). Klingberg's modified NTC was a full NTC from the start of the season until the end of 2022, switched to a 10 team no trade list on Jan. 1st. They both do, but yes, they're very similar players. Can't believe how many people wanted him here given how poor of a fit Myers is on this roster. 45 minutes ago, rekker said: Exact opposite of the type of dman this team needs. dougieL
Anyone here think it's better to have OEL than Klingberg? Or that having Klingberg would be just as bad as having OEL?

Well, you'd probably still be mad. Seems like a portion of the fanbase only knows how to be angry.

Plus, Klingberg is Swedish and he'll gel with OEL and bring out the best in each other and Pettersson while given the kids a good mentor for 5.5 weeks Edited January 14 by Warhippy 1

Warhippy
So after last night. Henrique is reportedly available as well as Klingberg. Silfverberg is up and the ask is high but retention is possible The ducks WILL be picking 3-5 times in the first 3 rounds again this year and next year Since 2019 they've done that no less than 4 times with 6 first round picks, 5 second round picks and 3m3 third round picks. THAT is without mentioning that they have three 2nd round picks and 2 third round picks this year and two seconds next year alone without making a single move at this point. Damn...
