Popular Post nuckin_futz
If you weren't a fan back then it's hard to describe what Gino meant to the Canucks and the boost he gave them. There were a lot of smaller guys on the team like Brian Bradley, Robert Kron, Igor Larionov etc. Gino gave them the confidence to know if they got roughed up he'd take care of it. That made everyone on the bench suddenly grow an inch taller. Gino's first fight in his 1st game against Chicago's Dave Manson. Gino's 2nd fight the same night against Chicago's Stu Grimson. Just watch the big smile on coach Bob McCammon's face after the fight. @ the 45 second mark. Gino going after Eric Lindros at 2:17 RIP Gino. One of the toughest customers ever. Thanks for the memories. You will not be forgotten. Edited January 16, 2023 by nuckin_futz 2 1
