[Poll] With Horvat gone, who should be named the Canucks next captain?

With Horvat gone, who should be named the new Canucks captain? Curious to see what CDC thinks on this.

No captain until Pettersson doesn't sign the extension with the Canucks. If he wants to be here, it will be him; otherwise, it will be someone else.

No captain for next year, but give Petey an A and see if he handles it well enough to be the C after that. He's taken a big step this year and I think he could also lead this team. Also, as @-Vintage Canuck- says, wait to see if he actually stays around here too.

There is no one in that group that would make a great captain. The team has always used "nice guys" for their captains. Give it to JT Miller he has it in him.

I agree 3 - A- A-A and at some point next season name either Petey or Hughes as future captain...

Next season Petey A -- Hughes A-- guess we will still have Miller "A"

His personality is bad enough don't find him captain material he lacks qualities that you want being captain...

He can add to leadership but not the captain leave him with the "A"

I know a few of the choices would be good leaders on the ice, but I'm not sure who I would want to be doing the press conferences after the game.  That's one thing Bo was good at.  He may have been as boring as heck, but he never gave the press any ammunition to cause controversies.

I would pick Schenn out of any options.  Petterson doesn’t need the added responsibility.  Let him have an A.

Not Miller that's for sure.

 

But honestly, just roll with three or four A's for two or three years and see who steps up. Odds are we'll be seeing quite a bit of roster turnover anyway. Who knows who'll be here and for how long at this point. 

 

Could very easily be someone who's not on the roster yet.
