To be fair, whether he did this because of Daniels tweet...I don't blame him for getting rid of it knowing how much of a fire he's coming into. Can't people dig up old tweets and likes anyways? So I doubt he did it because of Daniel. Not that I know much beyond this with twitter...I don't have any online social presence...only this site lol. I guess that counts.

foote is the defensive development coach.  he will be doing ALOT of developing lol

(Sure....maybe some will chime in with "yeah but Bruce is part of why he's still here and he knows it". But, bottom line, JT's a guy who cares and this was his making a statement about his coach. Stand with him to the end...there's something admirable in that. Even IF it's because Bruce was a staunch supporter of JT...what goes around comes around stuff. It's important to me that he stood beside Bruce too).

I definitely noticed that JT just stayed sitting on the bench while the fans were chanting and Bruce was taking it all in. That was a big time sign of respect for his coach.

I like JT, he hasn't played the best this year and he knows it.

I think the reason fans are all over JT is because they are sad that Bo is going to gone, and that upsets me too. But that is not JTs fault, and I wanted him on this team as he is a good player.

We'll see. I'm tired of negativity and now that I've put my thoughts on how Bruce was treated out there, I'm facing forward. I live by the hate/drinking poison and expecting someone else to die deal.

 

I will welcome the new "team" in and see what they do and, also important to me, how they do it.

 

Winning isn't everything to me...I want a team I can be proud of for how they conduct themselves too. Some don't care...winning at all costs. I do though...it's a personal thing. The Sedins didn't "win it all" but that doesn't take away what they are in my eyes. True champions in life. A guy raising a cup doesn't get a free pass from me...there's more to it than that. What kind of human being are you? That matters too.

 

But, cheers to the future...let's see what it holds.

WTF, Cull is the only assistant I was hoping they wouldn't fire!  He's got a great, old-style NHL moustache.  Looks really good behind the bench.  King, on the other hand, must have photos involving Francesco.  What did he ever do to deserve being an NHL assistant coach??!

I am literally disgusted by this team.  I will not spend one dime on Canucks tickets or merch until this regime is gone.  Done.

Replacing coaches happen all the time in sports biz so not the problem here.

 

Its the way the Canucks mgmt handled this one with the presser on Monday indicating that they spoke to other coaches which have us baffled. Not sure how the Canucks mgmt team would react if Aqualini came out to say he was also looking at other GMs. Show some tactfulness  discretion and professionalism and this would not as big a story. 

Say less and do more please.

PS. I must be getting old - use to watch these players as rookies and now coaches..
