RolexSub
The lowest point was losing to The Boston Bruins in Game 7 when we were up 2 games to 0. But right now is not too far off from that.

I like it Character guys haven't worked for this organization for over 50 years. Rutherford knows how to win, I will see this through.
rekker
Lowest? Not sure, been a fan since 82. Definitely the lowest since joining this forum in 2005. My heart, my passion have been removed for awhile now. It's my team, but it's just entertainment at the moment
-DLC-
For me the lowest was the Keenan/Messier deal. I checked out for awhile. Turned out ok, but it wasn't without some deep bruising. But we'll see what develops. I'm hoping things start turning around and we don't have reason to continue bitching, moaning, complaining and fighting. It's really draining.
Ken Berry
The only one bitching, moaning and complaining about not been able to get any trades done was Jim "Rudderless" Rutherford. Management's and Ownerships treatment of BB is tragic .... do the management not know that future players & agents are watching this clown show? Who would want to be apart of the organization now. I bet Petey can't wait for his contract to end so he can go to a solid management group.

Gonchar, whom I've liked a lot as a player is an interesting hire. Russian coach could also be helpful as we now have few Russian players on this team. Foote was a very good defenceman in his playing days. Hopefully he will help in that regard. Until Demko returns, which could be the next season, we won't win many games. But if the team defence improves, that will be a good sign. You sound like me in 1986.
cripplereh
I have been a fan since the 70'd and way back when was some of the worst years. This is up there, time will tell if it is better or worse, but back then was so hard to watch.

My question is, has there ever been a time you felt worse about the Canuck organization then it is in the current state? Been a fan since I was a kid in the 70's, At no time have I even thought about ending my fandom. That has all changed. The utter disrespect and disregard they've shown for BB is disgusting and sad. I have lost a lot of respect for both ownership and management. They've spoken of culture change. I must say, they've achieved it. Disrespect and no care for our personnel. That's now Canuck culture. I, truly don't know if I can support this team as long as the Aqualinis and their management team are in place.

Down by the River
It isn't the lowest, but it's the tipping point for me. Being born in Vancouver and falling in love with hockey thanks to the early-90s Canucks used to be enough for me to cheer for this team no matter what. Those things are no longer enough to make me look passed all the terrible decisions this current regime makes. I'm not going to root against them, but I frankly don't care about this team's success/failure any more. Time to move on, it isn't worth the time/emotional investment. 1
VegasCanuck
Lowest would have been the year before Pat Quinn was brought in to run everything. How this was handled, really defines this as a bad day for the team, they didn't handle this well.

Gnarcore
I said the other day this was the lowest since Messier and Keenan in 98/99. We were the second worst team with I think a top 5 payroll precap. Been a fan since 1984 when I was 5 so those 80s years don't register for me. With how this was handled and a criminal being brought in this is certainly close to lowest for me. I do like the assistants but let us see how they do.

We mocked Edmonton a fair bit post-cup run because of their coaching carousal, lack of quality rosters, their whiffing on picks and their lack of prospects, their incompetent management, their consistently missing the playoffs. Sounds a lot like where we've been at, there's probably more of it on the way. Edited January 23 by Coconuts
Coconuts
But yeah, the last season and a half is definitely the lowest point for the organization over the course of my fandom. The past decade has been lousy but they've continued to find new lows over the past season and a half.
EP Phone Home
Since being a long time fan for 29 years. This is the darkest. There might be hope like we had after the messier days if we land one of the top 3 this year and some more elite prospects. This is the thing, we aren’t close of having the talent especially on defense aside from Hughes. It’s going to take awhile but we have to start somewhere or it will remain dark and bleak. And it surely is dark right now.
