Easy schedule upcoming, thats the only thing.

Counteracted by Demko remaining injured + Bo being traded.

Time for management to lean into the tank and rip a big fard for bedard

I still expect the team to rise to the middle cause the loser points or the rise will keep the seats filled, regardless, if they make it to the playoffs or not.

Although, I am also interested to see how effective Foote & Gonchar will be

The players used to call him Rick the Prick in Arizona.

Unsubstantiated rumor started here by me.

I mean if the media can say whatever they want, I'm guessing any regular Joe Blow can too.

What a catchy name though

Rick the Prick

Hopefully that sticks.

Haven't got a clue, but have a hard time seeing Brock survive a physical environment...

Tbh I'm kind of hoping/looking forward to some in your face, don't back down hockey, if that is, what we get....

All while we are sinking to the bottom of the standings... perfect storm.

I do think Boeser has played a little more gritty this season, he seems to skate hard to retrieve pucks (still doesn't battle all that well though), but his offensive production has fallen off big time.  I'm okay if Boeser doesn't score 30+ goals. If he can pot 25 and play a gritty, fast game, then I'd be happy with that.

Don't tell J Fresh.

Literally no one will do well under this convict.  This dirtbag is worse than Keenan and the team has too much character to give him any respect.

I thought you did the YVR thing and announced your departure

How much attention do you need from this place?

Seriously, get a hobby or take your toxic vampirism to the Kraken boards.

Something.

Anything.

Anywhere else but here

I had a Navy wrestling coach in high school that worked our team until at least 3 guys puked every practice. Got into amazing shape, and got a lot better results. I can see our young guys respond well to structure, and hopefully get a lot stronger.

He did say we won’t be sitting back defensively they will be pressuring the puck which makes me happy

but ya we will continue to lose more than we win even if we have a an improved system.

my expectation:

1. Win some games early from the momentum change, fresh air, adrenaline and softer schedule.

2. PK continues to stink even if slight improvements

3. goal tending will be below league average even with an improved system.

4. PP goal scoring will determine games we win, and our offence will slow down at evens

5. Post Horvat trade will hurt our scoring even if Petey and Miller elevate their game

6. boeser and garland show improvement in the new system / style of playing and build some momentum / help their trade values

7. we get Podkolzin and Hoglander back in the lineup and Podkolzin thrives with the new coaching staff and his rebuilt confidence

8. Hoglander, and miller I’m not feeling confident on. But if their was any coach to help Miller sounds like Tocchet and co are perfect so going to stay optimistic

9. We finish bottom 7 and hopefully have some lottery luck

10. choosing to be optimistic

11. OEL and Myers I honestly don’t know. We will see what happens.

12. Bear we will see if coach likes him.

13. Hope Wolanin and Brisebois get some games

14 + 15: STAY OPTIMISTIC STAY STRONG don’t listen to Drance on the radio he will fill your head with pessimism and negative energy.
