So here’s something to ponder.

Does possibly holding 2 decent 1st rnd selections at the draft,

allow us to trade up for 1st overall?

those 2 plus Quinn Hughes may get it done.. B)

Honestly, hate's a pretty strong reaction. Save that for awful people who hurt others and are malicious.

Can you list reasons to "hate" Miller? It's a little different than disliking/not watching him on the team/etc. Hate's a strong word. Did he steal your girlfriend?

It was a joke it’s what Phil and I do. Relax deb there’s only portions of his game I don’t like and with the arrival of tochett and BOs departure I think/ hope that miller does accept the challenge of leadership. It’s obvious he wants it  I also believe his desire for leadership is the very reason he came in the first place as well as resigning ,having lesser roles in his previous teams , there has to be a reason why an American player looks to be and plays for a Canadian team with as much passion as he’s shown , it’s rare to see.   If anyone can mentor Miller into that role there’s no better guy than tochett.

Wow.  I know these highlight reels give off an overly positive  impression, but I'm impressed none the less.

He's being described as a throw in, even a cap dump by some.  This is from only a couple of years ago. Maybe the change in scenery will do him some favours.

They also have never really been a team known for scoring. We have 17 more goals scored than the Isles this year, in 3 fewer games. We may be absolute garbage at keeping pucks outta our net, but we are good at putting pucks in the opponents net. I could see Beauvillier getting his offensive totals up. He was killing penalties on their top 5ish ranked PK too if I heard correctly.

Beauvillier isn't garbage like some might think at first glance. Someone said he was similar to Garland, I think that's a good comp. He's slightly bigger, really good playmaker and has really solid wheels. I think he can play well alongside Miller. Taking some of the puck control pressure of Miller. Who has a tendency to force things. I am excited to see what he can bring.

Nice highlight package. Recommend watching. Great shot, really good speed, tough around the net, gritty, great backhand goals as well. New favorite player lol.

Heard them 650 guys say yesterday that he is shifty like Garland with bit more upside and less Cap hit

I think he'll be a nice little surprise here. If we can only dump Boeser and Garland we'll be set up not too horribly.

Cool so we are the pats of the NHL. Superstar talent with a bunch of nobodies and negative assets haha. Zero chance I ever move up in a draft. The cost never makes sense in regards to a 1st rounder that high.... I'll move down though all day and double my picks. But we need to prove we actually have the ability to develop players first before I go all out with the magic beans.:P

I think we have a good setup with Abby being soo close to van... Time will tell but we are seeing good strides from klim podz and hogs

Garland could help a playoff team.

Moving Boeser is going to bite.

Hopefully he shows a solid speedy 2 way game and can PK. We really need these high dollar wingers to be alot more versatile then all show. Personally I'm OK with kuz being a pure offensive weapon but the 11m tied up in the total bums of Garland and boeser is just soo bad. Nothings worse than a winger who's paid a premium for only 1 talent and they arnt even good at that one talent
