I really think Bo was focused this entire year on making bank, but I also think he was confident the canucks would cave and find a way to give it to him. I guess he can see what offers are on the table come july and if he really wants to come back, he can grovel and see what happens. I don't see the canucks bringing him back at any price point now, though.

I predict that he'll really struggle to adapt in new york and will be statistically lacklustre the rest of the year.

Agreed - Allvin said they originally planned to extend Horvat, so I think all parties thought an extension would get done eventually. PA said they made their best offer, and they didn’t take it.

Unpopular take: I’m not convinced that a $6M+ offer was ‘lowballing’ him. He’s been a 50-60 pt guy at best before this season. For our 2C, I’d rather have Miller’s 35-67 assists per year v. Horvat’s 21-23. The face off % difference isn’t as valuable as providing twice the assists…and it doesn’t make sense to pay your 3C $8M.

No.    You’ve seen this ?

I'm guessing this is Raty? I also saw somewhere that he switches hands on his off side. I've never seen that done before, but it's impressive. He's got a really good FO% in his small NHL sample size. Very promising.

To be fair he wasn't wrong on the first post. We didn't lose Bo to free agency.

Demko rumor doesn't make much sense to me.

Who is going to pay up for a goalie coming off an injury?

I wouldn't be against it but yes, that will be a rebuild. No way we are winning many games in the next few years.

My guess:

Is their any importance regarding face offs that he shifts from left to right handling of the stick?

I believe he switches to his right side to for faceoffs, which is important considering all the other Cs

on the Canucks are lefties.

I can't see LA having the mindset that they realistically have a shot at making a deep cup run, and if they do, I'm not sure if Demko would even be their best option. I can see a handful of teams catching and passing them before the deadline. Keep in mind teams behind them have as many as 5 games in hand to make up the 5 points separating them.

This season is one thing, but Demmer is signed for multiple years at a decent Cap rate. If the Kings did go that route, I expect they'd see him as a long-term solution.....

No.   There’s more .    Happy to post here if you’d like :)

My preference has always been if we had to chose between JT and Bo the smarter move is Bo, I’m not changing from that because it os truth imo.

Just listen to any unbiased media talk about JT Miller. Steve Dangle calls his play shocking for a player making that much money.

Didn’t think this involved you,  good to know, I’ll continue.

Find the private message function, and keep your little "gotcha" drama there. All you've proven is that you have too much free time on your hands.
