Tryamkin has been eyeing the NHL longer than I've been eyeing a potential girlfriend

That’s called stalking, you animal.

Not so far-fetched....it happened to Brad Richardson!

I don't care if he scores goals, I just REALLY want to see Marchands nose embedded in the glass in the corner of our arena.

Is that really asking too much????

REALLY????

I’d rather see Marchand on the Canucks than Tryamkin.

He's talented, but I'd get tired of watching the cheap shots and dangerous plays that could easily end someone's career. Playing with an edge is one thing, but putting people's life on the line is just plain stupid and selfish.

What if this dump today allows us to acquire

Soucy, Tryamkin & Foote ..   ?

That’s creating some intimidating , heads up / or else Defending :towel:

Dhaliwal stated Canucks are likely in on trying to get both of Cole and Soucy. Unlikely Foote.

There seems to be something cryptic about this message from Diamond, who is usually a little more open:

Dhaliwal to Diamond about Tryamkin:

Let go!! Give us the goods. Is he signing? Update. Let's go!!

Diamond: We need to be suspenseful on July 1st

To misquote Mike Tyson:  It's "suspenseful".

I'm very suspenseful today, and yer all welcome to be too.

Agree completely.

I'll say this, though: in the playoffs you need a couple of guys who know where that line is and can cross it occasionally. Kane's late hit on Pieterangelo likely led to the slash that got Pieterangelo suspended for a game (didn't help the Oilers, ultimately); Bennett's late hit on the Leafs' Matthew Knies cost a $5,000 fine but put the forward out of the series. Even having a guy with a reputation I think has a bearing on how your opponents play you.

Seems pretty quiet on the Tryamkin front.

Nikita blew it big time.  Not sucking it up and being willing to pay his dues in the AHL if the coach wanted that.  The arrogance of youth.  He had enough talent that if you add his size, and working with NA professional trainers in off seasons, I have no doubt he could have landed an stuck a job here or somewhere else in the NHL, if we had kept and traded him.

Now he is stuck in a country spiralling down into economic disaster and destabilization. He would have been living the high life in a Western city by now as a proven defender, with a contract paid in American dollars instead of a crashing rubble.
