Calling people kids because they don’t agree with you…Sounds rather childish no?

If your theory was true Tryamkin would already have a contract.

Truth is there’s just not much interest. I’m sure he’ll get an offer but it will almost certainly be low term with a salary of less than a mil.

You always have to consider the source on some comments :)

I call everyone kids, muffin, sunshine, honey or the like.  Grouping a bunch of people together and calling them kids is normal for me.  If I had said "you people" you'd be up in arms.

it's not a slight or an insult so stop playing the victim sir.

It is me putting detractors in to the same group/comment and saying that pretending GMs won't over react and or overpay is a fantasy.  That's it.

Stop over thinking it.

What a range of opinions this player can cause  We have some people claiming he will get a 4 million x 1 year contract and some claiming he won't get a contract in North America at all. Any minute now we should find out the results and see who was right.

It's a subtle temper tantrum and childish to be completely honest. Calling you out for being childish isn't playing the victim.

It’s all cap dependent, especially at this time.

He was worth the 2m x 2year Benning offered at the end of his first full season in 2017.

Even 3 years ago when he waited for Benning to create roster room and capspace he was worth that , possibly up to 3.5.

But the cap may have risen .05 % ,  and the roster here is still trying to be cleared of bad contracts.

Its the Cap that has agents/ managers / and players making adjustments that seem to be in reverse from years ago..

and many good players in the World trying  to get into this league.

Its interesting all around,  not just this player, but many,  and all teams .

Is it any wonder why expansion teams get the upper hand in creating a playoff club from their inception?

Its a fantastic opportunity.

Easy to “wake” those who cant think pragmatically, let alone offer a good opinion..

They make off the cuff opinions,  get told their not telling a truth to the story ..

then claim “victim “ because they’re offended by their own stuipidity.

Projection is strong here.

IDGAF what you think kids

GMS are stupid.  They see size and skating and they'll pay.  Period.

Pretending otherwise is just fantasy.

There's an endless history of GMs doing exactly that.  Proven or not

Don't believe ladies when they say size doesn't matter.

Meh, I think the ship has sailed for Try. He would be fortunate to get a PTO in the NHL at this point I think. Maybe a two way deal. I liked the guy as a player with some potential, but I'm not convinced he had the desire to put in the proper training.

I doubt he'd go for a PTO. If he's leaving Russia he's going to want to make sure he gets paid enough to be worth it.

Absolutely. Too bad, he had the size and talent. Just not the desire to do what it takes to play in the best league in the world.

It may well be difficult for a fit adult male to leave Russia at this time.

It is possible that bringing his family may also be a factor for patience and tact.

I hope he is working it out with all involved and I really appreciate their tight lips.

Maybe we bought out OEL to make room for Nikita, what do you gurus think?
