May as well.  Sounds like the next time we call him up we won't get away with sending him back down.  I guess maybe bring him up for the last 10 games or something if he isn't in the thick of something important in Abbotsford.

I think the previous poster mentioned that once he plays two more NHL games, then he can't be sent down without clearing waivers. On the off chance he doesn't make the Canucsk out of training camp, they can send him down without putting him on waivers, where he would surely be claimed. I think this is simply insurance. Except in the case of more injuries up front forcing a recall, I think the plan is to leave him in Abbotsford, where he has played very well. And let's see if he can create some chemistry with Karlsson and Raty.

I don't think any of Podz, Hogs, or Aman are ready - I'd like to see them help Abby - but that's exactly what this time is for to get guys a bit more time, adjust, transition, and apply what they've learned. Will be interesting to see Podz and Aman this time around. Di Giuseppe will be fine. Like his game!

Someone on here mentioned Hoglander is 2 nhl games away from being waiver eligible .

Could be a “showing” before going to another team ..   via trade or pick up off the wire.

Hogz for Mukhamadullin?  or Bahl ?

You lost me, or maybe it’s the Bourbon.

How is Hogz being shown if he wasn’t called up?

I wouldn't call him up at all, we're almost out of runway with Hoglander, next season it'll be do or die regarding whether he sticks with the team or not because if he ever hits waivers next season he'll almost certainly be taken by someone

Dude has tons of skill, just hasn't put it all together yet, a squad like Montreal, Ottawa, Arizona, and so on could grab him

Just leave him in a positive environment and let him have success with what looks to be a playoff bound squad, we can look at other prospects in the meantime

I would leave him in Abby next year to for him to prove consistency

NHL should be a privilege and be earned

The rule preventing demoting a player for under performing while a minor leaguer is excelling has swung too far to create entitlement

That's the tricky bit, what if he looks good in camp and tails off later  after getting regular season games in? Or what if he did start in Abbotsford and took steps forward, would you just leave him all season if it looked like maybe he could take the next step?

Sooner or later they're going to have to decide how much rope they're willing to give Hoglander as he inevitably becomes waivers eligible, and whether he has a future on our NHL roster.

We all loved Bo, but now he’s gone let’s be honest about how he played.  He was craperolla defensively.

Bo is way better than Miller defensively.  It’s not just D zone.  It’s all over the ice.  Bo makes better decisions and ismore often on the right side of the puck than Miller.  Miller is a great player, but he’s not smart defensively.

Do you remember writing this not even a year ago? Just wondering why the abrupt change in your v8kew.

Bo is the guy who would fly the zone while Miller was protecting netfront.  Bo did nothing while his teammates took abuse.  I thought we would keep Bo with a 50 mil offer.  But Bo wants the big payday.

I wouldn't say Bo was crap defensively but he's perceived as a 2 way player and he's not. He's more of a power play specialist who's great at faceoffs. Still very valuable, doesn't really have any crazy skills that stand out but has great work ethic.

A solid number 2 centreman but someone is going to pay him like a number 1, and I'm glad it's not the Canucks.

Miller lets his emotions get the better of him.  He has said as much himself...... going blank   Hopefully Tok can get him over himself
