Popular Post OldFaithfulCap
Media TV: Sportsnet, Hulu+ (USA) Radio: Sportsnet 650 Overview The Canucks hit the Big Apple in the season of the Big unofficial tank with the Rangers tonight and the Islanders tomorrow in a back-to-back. Tocchet had Podkolzin with Miller in practice yesterday but few other changes were noted so we may see the same line-up that lost in OT against the Devils. It was a fairly good performance apart from a minute of madness where they gave up 3 goals and their win hopes were dashed by a rare Powerplay in OT. The Abbottsford call-ups performed well last game, with Di Giuseppe scoring a goal, Aman being physical and Podz being a menace and driving to the net. New beau/bo had a decent outing with a nice pass to spring EP for a breakaway being a possible start to chemistry. Martin will start tonight, hoping to not allow 5. The Rangers have a lot to play for, only 4 points separates them from the Caps in a competitive Metro division and they are coming off an exciting Overtime win of their own. Shesterkin has been off since the All-star break but we may seem him and his top ten goals and save percentage tonight. Chytil has been on a tear of late for the Blueshirts, scoring 6 goals in 4 games and Zibanejad has two 2-goal outbursts in his last 5. The Rangers captain Trouba had a big effort against the Flames, registering 6 hits, many of them huge and had 2 fights including a battle with former Canuck Tanev though Blais on Lucic was quite a highlight. Tocchet is working on his systems but with the Canucks sitting only 4 points back of 3rd lottery spot we know what the best result will be for the team tonight. MATCH-UP INFO Tonight marks the first of two meetings between the Canucks and Rangers this season: Feb. 8 (away), and Feb. 15 (home). EddieVedder
Rags dont look too deep a team tbh esp with vesey on top line. I like that 3rd line potential though, and defense looks solid. Hoping deguissepe sticks and they keep that 4th line together. Aman deserves to be up here.

Boudrias
Hopefully another trade before game time. Promote the tank. Gadj is helping he scored in a SJ win last night. Stealth Canuck. 2

Sativika
I didn't watch the Flames/Rangers game, but after seeing the highlights I'm excited to see how we fare against the Rangers tonight. If we get the same treatment as Calgary did, will we respond?!?!?!??????? Go Canucks Go!
