DeNiro
I could see us taking a flyer on Hajek. Just turned 25 and is a former 2nd round pick. Pending RFA so not much risk. Seems to be getting buried in New York.
Diamonds
I'd take a flyer Hajek and try him instead of Stillman.

CR7
We should put a claim in for Hajek, 25, 6'2" 209 lbs. LD, 110 NHL games. Nothing jumps off the page about the player, but would probably be an improvement over our ever rotating 3rd pair LHD
HKSR
When do the Canucks ever claim guys off waivers... even when it's outright slapping them in the face (Tolvanen)...

CanuckFan1123
Wouldn’t mind giving Hajek a shot. Never really done much but low cost and RFA rights. He had a good amount of potential when he was drafted. Maybe can still get something out of him.
Coconuts
Grab Hog and then waive him to Abbotsford and hope he gets through Build up a monopoly of Hog 1
billabong
Hajek might be worth a claim but it depends what else the Canucks have planned because the Canucks are already at 47 contracts
The Lock
I don't know if I want Hajek. He's 25 years old and more of what we already have. Just because we can doesn't mean we should.
N7Nucks
I'd claim Hajek like many, but we also gotta keep options open for trades and college UFAs.

I mean if Schenn and Boeser are on their way out, we’d still be gaining a contract (depending on return). Still gives us 4 contracts to work with. After the Kuzmenko signing I think we're probably gonna keep Schenner. He's the only RD that is worth anything, honorable mention to Bear. Especially as a leader. Tocchet claimed he was gonna lean heavily on him when he first got here.
awalk
Hope we claim Hajek. If the plan is reclamation projects, might as well try off the waiver wire. If he doesn't work out, would probably be helpful in AHL

Tocchet claimed he was gonna lean heavily on him when he first got here. Schenn’s agent basically said that he’d be willing to re-sign here in the summer after a trade. If some team is offering a 2nd they absolutely take it. As for a contract coming back yea you’re probably right. But we could also send another contract like say Brisebois along with him if we really needed to free up a contract spot.

Lonny_Bohonos_14
Worth a shot on Hajek. With how our d-core is set up, we need to get creative. It's a low cost add, and should be relatively cheap to resign if we want to retain him. If it doesn't pan out, we can non-qualify him at the end of the year. Low risk, potential moderate return. Not often enough is the answer. we did it for some tweeners in the past like Boyd, Vesey and Richardson. Canucks just have too many wingers, I would have still claimed Tolvanen as well but he is a winger, was he waived before or after we sent Hog and Pod to the AHL?
