These are F-35, not F-22, which is not exported by US. We expect: the first four aircraft to be delivered in 2026, the next six in 2027, and the next six in 2028, with the full fleet to arrive in time to enable the phase out of the CF-18s by the end of 2032. That's my guess anyway I lean that way too ,. my theory / opinion . . China , with or without the assistance of RuZ is trying to get established in the far north WITHOUT creating too much , or any attention. The North is a mega of unexplored potential wealth in resources , and the unknown. Perhaps this was / is a low key way of sending equipment used to protect and explore , and possibly build stations from. The Winds and weather patterns once known as “Trade Winds” normal to “piggy back” to destinations are NOT what they used to be . I think these Balloons have been taken off course . One would think the equipment used , and normally associated with spying, would be / could be used for research deep through the Ice to discover and map. my 2 bits. if it is for spying the continents of North and South America…. time to develop a capture system. 1

Yup especially if you understand the German lyrics. In that way it's almost exactly prophetic. Right now were on the General has been alerted and a fighter aircraft has been sent! Luckily the ministers of war are trying to get on the phone together and simmer it down before grabbing the fire bombs.
stawns
This is really a "nothing to see here" situation. Surveillance balloons are used by many nations and have been for a long time https://www.theatlantic.com/ideas/archive/2023/02/-chinese-spy-balloon-shot-down-ufo-history/672982/

Jaimito
Canada called off the search in Yukon too. Good thing they saved some money by not using their own missile. Maybe they can shoot down Santa this Xmas. The RCMP says it has ended its search for an unidentified aerial object shot down over central Yukon last Saturday. https://www.ctvnews.ca/canada/rcmp-discontinues-search-for-foreign-object-downed-over-yukon-1.6279654 Edited February 18 by Jaimito
