We're playing as badly as any team in the league. We can do this!

I really don't want to see many more 6-1 blowouts though. Keep it competitive and keep morale up. The team can't look like they've completely given up. They need to lose because they are not good enough, not because they are not trying.

I doubt that the players have given up. However, we really aren't good enough. Not even close.

Heres the thing - if we really want to go on an epic tank run, we need morale down low

The problem with keeping it close is we might pick up points against bottom feeders

If our morale is completely broken, we may be able to drop some points against CHI/SJ, and finish this tank properly

If we would have lost the recent games against Chicago and Columbus we would be 4 points out of the basement and a guaranteed top 3 pick.

But we're the Canucks and we can't have nice things. :sadno:

Still a lot of games left.   Enjoy the "little things" like losing 6-1 to a Detroit team who's also had to re-set their rebuild.

Didn't the guy above just tell you "Don't stop thinking about the future"?

No regretz futz, can't change the past.

(Wish I'd learned that earlier; been hang'n onto that Cam to BOS trade for so long...)
