Chicago is at the same stage where we were when Torts was let go, we should have started what they are doing now, then.

 

We are at the stage where we are trying to fix a failed re tool. Somewhere Chicago probably won't be in 9 years.

Only difference was the Sedin’s weren’t waiving their nmc whereas Kane and Toews have been open to it all year.

Chicago seems to not care about when the pick is, just that they get picks. They're picking up picks that they'll be using in 3 years, which means that, if things work out, these players likely won't be NHLers until 2029-30...
