I have a Canucks card nad simply scan it in when i make a purchase and thn they print off your balance, end of story. However it was/is only worth $200 new so I'd be careful beffore you buy it and i would also suggest you have the seller provide you with the remaining balance. You might buy the car and find it's already been emptied

Very good points! Thank you! I'm hoping they'd meet me at vanbase and I'd make sure it works. Then I'd use it right away haha.

...and don't worry about losing seniority because ALL the good seats are locked-up by corporations who couldn't care less about the team forever, as they are just used as promotional giveaways and why you see such a silent, unconnected, dead uninvolved crowd in the lower bowl (especially the club section) and upper bowl center seats as real Canuck fans can't afford and can't get access to those seats.   All that seniority will get you as a regular patron is an opportunity to move around the end zones - forever!

Actually my seats are pretty good.  Upper bowl center.  I've never been in the end zone.  All the people in the seats around me are regular patrons.

Btw, I see a lot of Canucks gift cards on FB Marketplace for sale ($100 for a $150 gift card, for example). I've never had a Canucks gift card before. Is it possible for someone to take money off of it after you buy it? (Maybe they transfer it to another card or use the barcode to buy some stuff online).

Oh never mind - I read your question wrong.  I see someone gave you good advice already on this.

No worries at all! Thanks for your input haha. I just don't want to be scammed, but I see lots of them for sale on FB Marketplace and wanted to ask! I assume I'll get one with my membership renewal, too!

Kraken round 1-0% round 2-25% round 3-50% Finals-100%
Oilers round 1-73% round 2-100% round 3-138% Finals 320%

The Oilers know what they are doing.  Kraken don't
These are cost increases by round over regular season price

Sometimes I see people having hot dogs outside of Costco. Is there anywhere to sit inside? I was walking past yesterday after getting dropped off by my Uber when homeless people kept bothering people eating (asking for money).

All the downtown streets in that area are unfortunately overrun by homeless people and beggars due to our previous mayor allowing the extremely rapid decay of the DTES area due to his inaction and refusal to enforce laws and bylaws.   The results are what you see today, which is that the entire eastern portion of downtown Vancouver in a bloody MESS - to say it politely.  It's pretty disgusting to see what has become to Vancouver in just the last 3-4 years and what happens when you have bleeding heart leadership with no backbone!

Hopefully the new mayor continues with his plan to clean-up this city before it becomes another Portland or Seattle permanently!

Absolutely! I remember going to games 10+ years ago and it was nowhere near that bad. With all of the recent crime and stabbings, I just wanna avoid people and get into the arena asap! I knew Hastings was always bad, but didn't realize it had spread to around the arena as well! Just awful for any tourists.

I'm still pumped from the game last night! I went to add more games on and realized that was the last home game haha. I hadn't had any coffee yet (in my defense). If I want to upgrade my quarter season to half, can I do it online? They don't have prices listed yet. Maybe I should email my account rep?

I’d get full season upper bowl centre , and sell half for sellers credit and then the following year you’d only pay half the cost of your package

Awww. I do prefer the lower bowl. Kinda worried about falling off up there after having a couple of beers haha. Apparently tickets can be hard to sell as well?

That's incredible!!! I usually was able to sell extra seats too over the last 4-5 years, as long as I sold them at 40-75% of their cost - except for rare games against the high demand teams like T.O.. Boston, et which I usually attended anyways but about every 6th to 7th game I'd end up stuck with a pair - no matter how much I lowered the price, especially mid week games against "nobody" teams and especially since the Canucks started "dumping" tickets at half price to students and last minute buyers and also giving hundreds away to charities and disadvantaged folks to keep the arena from looking too empty.   My fellow STH neighbors sitting next to me on both sides also complained they were having the same problem, so you are extremely blessed with good fortune to be able to unload unwanted tickets without losing lots of money.  That is for sure!

It certainly is a far cry now from ten years ago when you could almost guarantee a good profit from any tickets you sold and another reason why I got rid of season tickets as it was a constant hassle worrying about selling tickets, wasting time adjusting prices and losing money endlessly.     Just look at the crowd on TV at any Canucks game and you'll see hundreds of empty seats just on the one side of the lower bowl visible on your screen and then imagine what it's like on the other side in the Club section (which is always worse) and especially the upper bowl.
