When I lived in Sicamous, the only Weber I knew who played hockey was James Weber (Shea's dad), and that's because we were on the same Rec Team Cheers to the Old guys

The private rooms up there are pretty nice...the couch isn't too bad for sleeping on either....spent a couple days there myself. Hope all goes well, if you need anything at all just let me know Curt, I would be glad to help. My wife is a nurse there, so I visit the hospital often... I'll PM you my # just shoot me a text. (now who's the kiss a$$???)

I just got back from the hospital with my 2 year old (infected mosquito bite of all things...) wish I knew you were there I coulda said hi... I vote to push it back, as I can't make it due to a dance recital (forgot that it was Saturday night). How do I forget what night my daughters dance recital is???? well Curt....when you have 6 kids a lot of things slip through the cracks---you'll find out one day! Congrats you two!!

Release: The Dallas Stars would like to release Bud Holloway, as he has signed a 2 year contract with SC Bern in Europe. .....Having trouble posting the link... Disappointing. I would have like to see what this guy could do in the NHL.

Word in Dallas is that if anyone would like to speak with Marian Gaborik before he hits free agency, they should contact Wilb. Any pick in either this year's or next years draft will be enough.

Does anyone else look back in their message history at old trade talk.... after doing so, I would encourage any other team to engage in trade talks with me, as I seem to have pulled the trigger on the not so good ones, and left some amazing deals (in hindsight) on the table

Wow... looks like my team has decided to practice for the playoffs next year... Brassard + Pouliot combining for an OT winner, Gabby tying the game and winning it in ot on a 3pt night, and Bickell tearing it up as well. We would have 68 pts in rnd 2 so far... Now to find a way to get these guys into the playoffs next year....

Interesting Note: Just keeping track of a couple guys I traded at the deadline... New Jersey picked up Demers, and Wingels at the deadline from Dallas. They combined for 40pts in the first round....New Jersey wins the series by 39pts. Wow, the difference an important deadline deal can make. Good luck to the remaining playoff teams.

Lucic's $5000 fine is .085% of his $6,000,000 salary (approximately). If you make $70,000 per year, that equates to about a $58 fine. Maybe Lucic should pay an extra $30,000 and we could watch him castrate the Wings starting lineup while they sing the national anthem...

Not sure if anyone has luck like me. I went from 29th to 28th place very late in the season and beat Calgary by a whopping 2 points. And.....Calgary wins the Lottery The problem is its not good luck Ahh well... 3rd is ok I guess

Hey Curt.... I think this one slipped through. Ben Eager waived Feb 10th, unless there was no player movement at that time? Couple other minor things: Grossman still listed as 2015 UFA, and front office allows 9 million for player dev, but the rosters page allows 8mil.

WAIVERS: Dallas places Ben Eager on waivers with the intent of placing him on the left wing in the minors.

Dallas is considering moving some playoff pieces to bring in some prospects and stability, Wingels and Demers could be moved...or any of our other playoff bound players... Drafting early is fun, but we do not want to be in this position year after year. Make me a solid offer soon....

Congrats to Dane Fox. Drafted 68th overall by cdc Dallas Stars, went undrafted IRL...just signed a contract with the Vancouver Canucks IRL. Currently 2nd in OHL scoring and 1st in goals.
